Asking for refund from supplier - Need advices

I bought the UG802 for 2 weeks now from an Aliexpress seller. There are 2 problems with the good I purchased. The first thing is the WiFi issue, low signal and connection range. And the next thing is that the USB cable they provided me is broken.

I can't return the good as the shipping cost is very high for me and my country policy is not so easy. I asked them for a refund and they told that they would like to give me 7$ to make me up. The total value of the order was $93 included shipping fee.

So should I open a dispute to ask them to refund more or be OK with their offer. I'm sorry if this post belongs to wrong forum but I really need advices about this. Thanks so much.

Don't agree for anything below 70% of total price value of the unit (excluding shipping), but ask for complete refund first. They wrongly advertise the unit, and if they don't support you in solving your issues (providing you with working FW or HW) ask for refund.

Thank you for your reply :D Actually they did help me by sending link to the current firmware as I requested them, but it seemed that they downloaded it from OvalElephant and reuploaded to their website.

I asked for a 50% refund but they just ignore that and are trying to convince me again to send the product back for a replacement. But the shipping fee is too damn high.

If payed via PayPal open a dispute and ask for full refund. If they don't agree escalate to paypal and that should convince them.

That's one of the problems I have buying through aliexpress. They don't take paypal.

I would do what I can to get this resolved and simply treat this as a pricey lesson to never use that seller again.

I read so many bad things about that company I won't touch 'em.
I'm a real big fan of reading reviews nowadays.
