Powered hub no good. I'm beginning to think it's either the wrong driver ( the one I just dl'd from dlink says rtl8712SU ) or it's the RK wifi app on android.

acqant wrote:So I've got a Dlink DWA-131 H/W Ver: A1 -- F/W Ver: 1.21 -- so says the box.

I've insmod r8712u with no errors. Kernel detects the usb and sees the mac address but when I turn the wifi to ON
I get all kinds of errors.

ANDROID_ERROR) ##wife_probe
ANDROID_ERROR) wifi_set_power = 1 ( I've tried it in the otg and direct usb slot ( Not a powered usb hub )
ANDROID_ERROR) wifi_set_carddetect:1

Then rk29 stuff, Dongle Host stuff
ANDROID_ERROR) wifi_get_mac_addr

I'm thinking I'll try a powered usb hub?????

the driver is at ... 7f5cdbc4ef

The driver for the r8712u is also in the kernel source. I built as a module for you.

Hope it works.

Hello! I know some people already compiled modules for usbserial suport. I need modules for ftdi and 16u2atmega chips (arduino nano, uno r3 and mega 2560r3 boards). I see a lot of people have problems with that. Can anyone share or compile such ko filems?
Thank you!

P.S. if I anderstand correctly modules can be used in imito mx1,2 ug007 too?

Sorry for my English, use google translator. Acquired USB LAN adapter My MK808B, with firmware:
it does not see, windows detects the device as CH9200. The result of searching for the problem solution in Google was required module device with the extension *ko, and to create the right:

1) the kernel sources - here they are
2) sources device driver
3) linux knowledge is not below average
If You have the ability to compile this module, I would be very grateful.

Dear All,

I am wondering if someone here could help me. I have a USB Wifi D-Link DWA-125 H/W Ver: A2 F/W Ver: 1.40

My internal MK808 Wifi was broked (it does not work even with it internal antenna and I already tested it with a external 7Db). So I really need to use an WIFI Dongle. Where can I find drivers to aforementioned Wifi Adapter, and what should I do set it correctly on my Mk808?

My Mk808 is running Android Version 4.0.4, Kernel version 3.0.8+...

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is what your looking for.

But I just purchased a Trendnet USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet adapter, and was doing some research on the drivers, since I have some time for it to ship.

AX88179 Linux kernel 3.x/2.6.x Driver

Android 4.2 Kernel Module

I won't be able to test these, until I receive my device, but I will update this post when i do.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to these things, so please bare with me as I speculate the steps.

I beleive the kernel needs to be rebuild and flashed or you can push the module directly to the device using 'adb'?

Any help or direction would be helpful?
