Blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen, blank screen.

Three different cables, two adapters, every possible official and unofficial firmware version, same result = blank screen.

It work just fine on a computer screen, but not on TV where I really need it.

I don't see any improvement from the manufacturer, if MX1 proves to be issues free and works out of the box, MK808 is dead.

I'm also starting to believe that this is a hardware problem, at least with some of the devices. I've flashed the new Finless ROM 1.5A (by the way I want to take him for the effort put in releasing these ROMs) but now the WiFi problem is even more serious. Before I never had a network disconnection and my WiFi never dropped bellow 6MBs (usually stayed around 13MBs) but now it drops all the time to 1MBs and disconnects during downloading from Google Play or from Dolphine browser and I have to constantly disable and enable WiFi to get it working again for 3 - 5 minutes. I will try to see if I manage to use an external dongle otherwise I will just smash it with a a hammer (this thing has taken me on the edge).

I flashed this ROM and monitored MK808 for 48 hours, wifi connection is stable at 65MBps. Occasionally it drops to 59MBps, but as soon as I launch any application it kicks back to 65MBps.

FYI, my router is Netgear 3500L with Shibby Tomato ROM ver 100.

I wish I could get the Wifi stable. I've tried 3 different routers/APs and no matter what I tweak I still have horrible wifi. It seems as soon as I try using the wifi is when it drops ... I go from 65Mbit to 5 then 1 very quickly seems worse than originally too. I still have a stock 808 I'm going to try and see if I can uncover anything, but so far my only issue is the network connectivity. Might just buy a wifi or ethernet dongle lol. I'm currently using a 5.3v 2000mA adapter and my benchmark scores are great! I plan on using this more as a gaming device but I was hoping to use it as a network media player too :D

Hello

I have fix the WIFI Problem!!!
The Antenna is the Guilty!!!
I took two Wires with 12-13cm length, soldered it to the Antennapad and bent it in the half by 180 degree.
Please don't ask me why i bent it, I have tried many variations and this Works best.

Try it yourself and give Feedback.

For Information: I have 2 mk808 1with Stock 1 with Cyangenmod10 and It WORKS :-) :-) :-)

Now I'm happy with my mk808.

With regards
Bernhard

Thanks for the tip! I tried this and all I got was a little better signal but my speed still sucks (I drop down to between 5mbit and 18mbit). Same as before for me, it starts high and tanks as soon as I try to do anything. Oh well ... I'll either have to get a better wifi dongle or wired connection or look at some other devices

@Spentboy
Reflash your device with the Stockrom (Restor button in the Batchtool) and then with Cyanogenmod 10 (Upgrade button in the Batchtool).
It´s very IMPORTANT that you use the Restor button on the Stock and the Upgrade on Cyanogenmod10!
Since then, the mk808 always connected to the wifi and I had no connection demolitions.

Hi all!!

Is not there a big movement this week?
I've been tired with the status quo that black screen problem is not resolved
