i'm stuck here : Wait for Moborobo to see the device and install drivers. It will detect the device as rk30sdk.
Moborobo can't install drivers , and yes it detect the device as rk30sdk, tried on 3 computers … also tried in linux and adb can't see my device …
on linux i get : lsusb Bus 001 Device 022: ID 2207:0006
i have udev rule , but adb gives me List of devices attached empty.

P.S. i got MK808 with bluetooth , i think it's called MK808B .

any suggestions ?
thnx

To those guys who failed to run 'TPSparkyRoot.bat' , error message is 2 devices be recognized by 'adb.exe' ,
One is USB direct connect to MK808 , another one is emulator of MK808.
IF MK808 is connect to PC by OTG USB , please modify 'TPSparkyRoot.bat' , replace all 'adb' wording by 'adb -d' (it means add '-d' parameter).

Another issue is , 'TPSparkyRoot.bat' doesn't push 'SuperSU.apk' , and show the 'chown' , 'chmod' error.
Because adb.exe doesn't 'push' this apk to MK808 , add the following line after 'echo --- Installing SuperSU'

adb -d push SuperSU.apk /system/app/SuperSU.apk

Connect to a Windows PC using the OTG port:
1. on mk808,
- settings -> USB-> connect to PC checked <<<<--- this one is not sticky, you will find it unchecked after each reboot
- settings -> Developer option -> USB debugging checked

2. on your windows machine, in MoboRobo, you should see installing device driver >> connecting >> connected

3. exit from MoboRobo (you can actually completely uninstall it now if you want)

4. in a cmd session:
- cd to the folder where TPSarky-VonDroid-Root.zip was unpacked.
- run "adb devices" - you should see your mk808 listed there. If you see the device but is listed as "offline" you probably forgot to exit from MoboRobo.

If all these steps are ok, you are good to go.

Before you run the batch script, you need to fix the SuperSu section:

echo --- Installing SuperSU
adb push SuperSU.apk /system/app/SuperSU.apk <<< -- add this line
adb shell chown root.root /system/app/SuperSU.apk
adb shell chmod 0644 /system/app/SuperSU.apk

5. run TPSparkyRoot.bat
The device will reboot 3 times. After each reboot, you need to redo the USB settings from step 1 and wait about 30sec - 1min for Windows to find the device. You should actually hear the "windows device connect" sound, before you can continue If you haven't uninstalled MoboRobo, do not let MoboRobo take over the device. It ls probabely a good idea to keep a second cmd session open and to run ""adb devices" before hitting a key to continue in TPSparkyRoot.bat.

If you still have problems, you can run the commands form TPSparkyRoot.bat files, one by one in the cmd session, until something fails.

Hi,
pleae could you indicate what usb cable can I use? I wonder I have to plug the adapter with a mini USB in OTG port and I have to use USB cable with 2 male USB-A connector in my pc.
But nothing happens, it seems the OTG doesn't work. I tried to attach a Usb keyboard on OTG port but it doesn't work.

Any suggest?

The reason it didn't install SuperSU is that there is a command missing in TPSparkyRoot.bat
Add this

Code: Select all

adb push SuperSU.apk /system/bin/SuperSU.apk

as line 34 and it should work

Return to “MK808”
