Multiple game controllers?

Postby justin2042 » Sun Mar 17, 2013 4:43 pm

Any solution for this yet? It seems as if nobody has come up with anything that will allow me to keep my multiplayer Mario Kart addiction fed. So far I know that

Microsoft wireless adapter sees both pads as the same input.

Blu tooth dongles arent working well.

Apparently nobody on Earth knows what to do.

I just assumed multiplayer worked. What about wired ones? I've been meaning to try a couple xbox controllers.

You can download a keyboard mapper and assign different buttons combinations.

All controllers that I've tested work the same and function as controller 1. You may be able to map controller buttons to A01, A02, A03, etc and controller B to B01, B02, B03, etc

I know each button can be mapped like that, then go into your emulator and map keys for controller 1 and controller 2.

I haven't tried this yet but I assume it will work.

Supposedly they both register the same... So not good for 2 players. I haven't tried using a IME key mapper app to maybe assign 2 characters to a button (so you can assign unique combinations to all buttons on both controllers).

From my research, "A" will register as the same input on both controllers and the stick can't figure out how to separate them. I havent figured of out.
