So we all bought a faulty product? That's the conclusion?

I use MK808 with a 26 inch TV in the room and with a 14-inch HDTV in the kitchen. I have a good performance and communication.

My TV has a non-standard for HD resolution - 1366x768 px, so I can't reach perfect 720p or 1080p HD without interpolation on my biggest TV. So, good video for my TV sets - 2-4Gb MKV and AVI.

Now I am completely satisfied with the MK808. If I buy a TV 32 inches or more with 1080p - I'll look for a more powerful device.

I watch 1080P and 720P movies all day long on my MK808 on a 42" LED screen, though I have had to switch to USB LAN device (one I had sitting around from my now not in use Wii), as the wireless is less than optimal. I also have a UG802 which I use downstairs in the living room, though I have not done a lot of testing with this yet.

I record a video to show stutter on moving scenes. Movie is 10 gb 1080p mkv and there is no problem in the file. It plays perfectly smooth on other devices.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I see the exact same effect here at home -- I've tried with multiple roms, mutliple displays (tv's, lcd's, ..) multiple resolutions, etc. Always the same stutter/judder effect.

I wish we could get in contact with whoever is responsible for coding the display driver of these units... It's most probably a bug in the RK3066 SDK provided by Rockchip to the different manufacturers I would assume. I'm not even sure the manufacturers have access to the display hdmi code... Anyways.

mrblack,

I think or devices have problem in hdmi driver or hardware. Maybe driver needs to be adjusted to hardware. Or hdmi unit is faulty :/

Maybe rk3066 sources could help?

Wow! It looks like you found the treasure! But since I'm not developer I hope someone with good programming skills alongwith freetime and motivation will handle that :)
