(Q) How do I get the MK808 to display more 720 x 576 lapdock

Postby buzz86us » Tue Jan 22, 2013 10:08 pm

I keep on trying different firmwares but they all have the problem that they will only give 720 x 576 output... am I doing something wrong here? Please let me know... I tried bobfinless, lewy both 720p and 1080p and neither will work for me. I need atleast 1280x720 if I can't get the full 1366x768 that is fine...

Hello, same question here, with a MK808B and a 11.6" lapdock.
It looks like the RK3066 is very limited in supported resolutions. Anything that is not a TV standard is not recognized.
My RaspberryPi outputs correctly in 1366x768 so the lapdock works well...

it is looking like the MK809 is the winner so far that one atleast displays 1280 x 720 I am considering just rooting that so that I can use reboot recovery to get into bootloader mode as far as I can see it is just a re-cased UG802. I like that the MK808 is easier to flash but if it can't display at a reasonable resolution then it doesn't do me much good. I wanted to have linux for computing tasks and android for some gaming.,..
