Has development of JB to the GK802 died?

Is the GK802 a dead product?
It has not recieved an updated Android OS for almost six months. :cry:

Yepp, I concur. Nothing "official" has happened in a long time. However, there a few linux packages available...

Not long ago, Geekbuying support told me that the "factory" was working on 4.2.2. As of today, I'm told that they are busy working on a new model. I don't know what to think anymore, but it seems as if sales take priority over customer satisfaction. Personally, such a short life-cycle with little support from the vendor/factory makes wanting to purchase a new TV box less desirable. Perhaps if owners of the GK802 (or equivalent), running either Android or Linux, could remind their vendor that they need to stand behind their products, then we might have a better chance at seeing an update from them.
