There's a copy of this device called the Hi802. It will not be receiving the same updates or support as the GK802.
It's slightly cheaper, but they basically stole the design and shopped it out at trade shows.
It also won't be featuring the same usb cable/charger needed to update the firmware through the pc as the GK802 has.
I highly recommend you go with the original GK802 over the slightly cheaper copy.
The copy can't even offer a warrenty, let alone support for the device.

HAHAHA hi802 is first model they might of pushed it out of the factory first by stealing plans but the morons over at hi don't give any support they don't even know how to use their own device even the review says to use deadhp1 firmwares that were made specifically with firmwares that geekbuying supplied so u might wanna go with the team that actually supports its devices or u can just sit on the backseat with hi and wait for the gk802 community to fix all their problems....

@Naismith

So HiPad bring out Android v2 "firmware" before Geekbuying, but Geekbuying posted beta Ubuntu binaries. And Geekbuying reply to email but HiPad doesn't. But where is Android JB? And who is working on releasing Ubuntu 12.04LTS? Where is the software support from Freescale/Ritchie/HiPad/Geekbuying? Why is everyone leaving it to deadhp1 to "commercialise" (i.e. make money for others) this product? Reviews on the HI802/GK802 have already been written. Why not write about when and who is going to release XBMC and other fully working software for this stick? If you represent HiPad and want to defend them, why not address the customer issues of power supply and usb connectivity? Why is there a V2 of the stick; why was this not communicated first before shipping; will there be a V3?

Hi.

I don't represent any company or shop.
See my catalog.
This is only one review more for me.
Gk802 don't have a lot of this... Don't want more users for this device?
I can understand your rage with hipad, OK I can write about this, no problem.

I make support for this site every day and collaborate with deadhp1 project actively.
