High frequency noise extremely annoying in UG802

Postby Menelao » Fri Dec 14, 2012 5:46 am

Hello

A few days ago I received a UG802 and I have a strange problem.

When connected to the TV I realize that makes intermittent high frequency noise, this noise is especially annoying.

Finless Update to 1.4a to see if he took off but no luck.'ve Had in several HDMI with the same result.

I have made several adjustments to the TV and not change anything. I have a PC connected to the same TV VGA and HDMI and I have this problem.

A few months ago had a MK802II and worked perfectly on the same TV.

When I take the HDMI Ug802 the sound stops, but not the speakers because I put the Mute and continue listening.

Anyone else happens this problem? Any solution?

Thanks for listening.

So the noise is coming from device itself not from your tv right?
Actually there is a lot of CLK generators inside all the devices and they use something called crystals which uses a mechanical resonance of vibrating material to create an electrical signal " CLK signal") one of these crystal is bad or damaged and may be it works on frequencies between 20 Hz and 20000 Hz so that's why u can hear it. Its really hard to fix it (SMT parts r hard to replace). may be it will fail later. I know it really annoying noise.
