Simple Video about MK809 II

MK809II runs the mainstream ARM Cortex-A9 Rockchip 1.2G-1.6G CPU(the other dual core mini tv stick actually has less than 1.2G dominant frequency, not the so-called 1.6G,while MK809 II can keep 1.4G when it’s working) and built-in 3D GPU.It packs 1G DDR3 ROM and 8G memory storage and pre load android 4.1.It has built-in bluetooth and supports all the external equipments you can find, mouse, keyboard, hard disk, webcam(the other devices which can’t compatible to some certain external equipments, like some can’t work with webcam, some can’t with hard disk). ... 8GB-61374#

Looks like a ad :-)

I like the design..
Looking at HW its the same old with bluetooth...
The Big issue with most of these sticks : is the software (rom)
So, I wish to see a user review...

Though the Experience isn't faked it's the same nice performance on my RockChip Rk3066 tablet with Jelly Bean 4.1.1 :)
Though they're a lot of flaws in their Video Player Core i currently test it very completely with all kind of problematic BitStreams (containter issues) and gather the Results in a Database :)
Some of their container Parsers seem not very robust others very good same for the bitstream parsing itself :)
Though i have nothing to compare yet against it except PC based Software which is superior in many of these (and i know this because i was providing feedback on issues that could be fixed then since years now and these solutions are very robust now, which helped to improve Nvidia, ffmpeg, CoreCodec, Intel, Archos, DivX, Xvid, X264 and many more solutions), i would really like to compare different VPU and Playback ARM based SOC solutions against theirs in the Future but we'll see ;)

Btw i see a big change of things currently where in the past years it was very hard to get such devices outside of China they are slowly swapping the European Markets from all kind of different new Brands that come into existance it's very interesting to watch that Development :)

It was much easier to get this RK 3066 Device then any time before with the 28/29xx series for me which search ended up most of the times in other Countries with not knowing what would happen with the Duane side of things, also very interesting i see all Kind of China Chip devices even appear in Normal Shops and Big Distributors who provide them to these shops, all this is very interesting to watch :)
So far i allready found Allwinner based Devices and Rk 3066 localy still on the search for Amlogic ones ;)

I've bought one of these and can't wait to test it out after Christmas... I have a MK802 but its just not powerful enough lol,

Will be testing emulation and stuff like that 8-)

Did you get the MK809 II ?
Can you test it, if there support for 5.1? I mean, can this unit output surround sound with HDMI? (not matter with decoding or passthrough)
