ATV1200 now available: http://www.ovalelephant.com/index.php?r ... ct_id=2085

I've ordered one - lets hope this doesn't have significant flaws like the MK808

I saw on Ali-baba an HDMI stick using the AML8726-MX chipset, http://yiyate.en.alibaba.com/product/67 ... tooth.html

It looks similar to the Egreat H520. Does anyone have information on this? I have been hesistant to purchase any of these devices because of the lack of hardware acceleration for xbmc. If this device does not have any serious flaws, I think it will be a winner because of the compatibility with XBMC.

No wonder the UG802 was reduced to €38.

What are the differences between UG802 and UG802 II?

Hi guys,
do you know if this UG802 II is the same as the MK809 II?
http://www.mk809.com/cs102II/en/index.html

I have to buy one of those Android miniPC and I don't know if it would be better to buy a MK808 or one of those new MK809 II (that comes with 8GB and integrated bluetooth to connect a PS3 controller :P).

Do you have any info (even regarding custom firmware compatibility)?

Thank you
Kok

This "S21H" could be real and it has been on sale around November but seems like it didn't get any attention?

This external antenna is exactly like older bluetooth dongles with fake antennas. Stay advised

After test.

I found Rk3066 chips up to 1.6Ghz.
But the device not run the chips for 1.6Ghz.
After test:
1. UG802 cpu 1.2Ghz, test score: 3088
2. UG007 CPu 1.2Ghz, Test score: 4260
3. MK808 CPU 1.2GHz, test score: 4389
4.MX1 CPU 1GHz, test score: 5389
5.EU2 CPu 1.4GHz, Test Score:8078

After access the Android , most custom product (this mean the operating efficiency )
No1 EU2
No2 MX1
N03 MK808 UG007 UG802 ( these model change little. and PCBA almost the same, Device alway hang,wifi instability)

this is my test result.

They look like Antutu Benchmark Results, which is very common to use and very reliable :)
It shouldn't also surprise the differences depending on the cooling solutions used egrets design for example is huge compared to many others but the board itself is as small it indicates the biggest problem for optimal performance is the heat dissipation from the board. I guess this is also a reason why some of the first generation sticks fail very fast.
A good PMU + passive cooling seems to be the best solution to reach such high scores reliable :)

Here are some of my captured results from reviews not the benchmark database

Antutu Benchmark

Samsung Exynos QuadCore (Galaxy Tab 10.1/S3) (Quadcore)

Overall = 12434
CPU = 7378
GPU = 1536
RAM = 2683
IO = 837
GLBench = 15/15

Nvidia Tegra 3 (Asus Google Nexus 7) 200€ (Quadcore)

Overall = 10860
CPU = 6336
GPU = 1544
RAM = 2104
IO = 876
GLBench = 12/8.4

K3V2
Overall = 10394
CPU =
GPU =
RAM =
IO =
GLBench = 21/14

Rockchip RK3066 (Window N90 2 Dual Core) 150€ (Archos Gamepad) (DualCore)

Overall = 7803
CPU = 4067
GPU = 1546
RAM = 1486
IO = 704
GLBench = 28/20

they give some guideline what to expect from the chips itself in most probably the optimal kernel configs

you will notice that GPU is very steady and that is to be expected the biggest differentiators of the chips currently is the GPU part which on most chips is Mali 400 currently (except above Tegra3-ULP and K3V2-Vivante).

the EU2 result seems really heavy for a RockChip of what i seen so far must be running @ the edge of frequency and heat ?
Im also pretty sure from reviews i saw that either wholesellers or manufactures themselves are cheating some times with higher benchmark results running the chip @ the edge but in the final release use much lower frequencies (for reliability reasons and design costs) ;)
