After the installation of CWM on iMito X1 the device has rebooted into recovery and the air mouse was working well. Now when I reboot into the ROM and go back to recovery the mouse is not working. Is anybody experiencing such problem?

Power off the device unplug all and start it again. It happened to me one time, I did this and work, It never happened again.

I heard same issue on other devices from other people. (at least MK809II and MK802III)

one was solved(just gone w/o any fix) but another one is not solved yet.
if it will not be solved, I want to see full dmesg output both Android and CWM.

----
(below is not related to above issue)

on some device which has USB wifi chip connected to USB OTG port internally, default USB OTG mode may be host mode. then, adb will not work with current CWM(no UI to change mode). it will be fixed in next release(device mode will be default).
then, you may need to wait next release to get dmesg output on CWM via adb shell.

in next release, I'll change scaling size to 80% for HDMI output. if you are using TV which does "overscan", and your kernel uses larger value for default scaling size, you may see "cut off" screen. it will be fixed.
you may see wide "black border" in next release. please ignore it ;)

When I power off the device it doesn't solve the issue. I will try to power off and unplug everything.

I unplugged everything from the device, connected the mouse dongle directly to the device without USB hub powered on the device and now mouse is working.

Thank you for the help!!!

extract update-binary from my zip(very important), put your kernel.img on same directory as META-INF

Code: Select all

META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary
kernel.img

make updater-script (it's called as edify script) which has following 2 lines

Code: Select all

package_extract_file("kernel.img", "/tmp/kernel.img");
write_raw_image("/tmp/kernel.img", "kernel");

put updater-script on same directory as update-binary

Code: Select all

META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary
META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
kernel.img

then, make a zip from them.

Hy Fun,

perhaps you can make a zip for kernel flashing, so we only had to change the kernel.img in the zip file. This would be awesome :-D

EDIT:
I make one, perhaps you can check, if it is ok before i flash ;-)

best regards
Craxx ;-)

just a question, for testing, run adb reboot bootloader, then flash new kernel.img with rkflashtool, is faster, isn't it?

btw, there is "load to RAM" function in RKAndroidTool.exe and I want to add same function to rkflash(tool). I hope it will be best.

Yes but i have the stick conected to my tv, and the pc is in other room, i had to disconect it from tv , now with your zip I only need to download the zip from my homegroup, install it and test. So much easier. An the mk808B usb conectors are weak, so many times plugging and unplugging usbs will broke them.

Hi,

Its possible to make a recovery firmware for this ?
Primal GV-20 Mini PC (MK808-Droid Stick T10) Firmware Update V1 Download
http://depositfiles.com/files/gbnxsn9m8

My box is dead, all the flashes I made went well, but the stick don't boot...

CWM recovery is not a recovery firmware nor recovery tool to save dead box.
and here is development thread, please use another thread to ask help.

sorry.

sorry, I thought I didn't make any contract to make a zip or check a zip precedence over my work...
if someone can do my work for me, I can use my time for you.
