Is the new release also for the MK808B or you have a seperate ROM for it ?
I thought I needed to download a different ROM for the B-version...

I just put this fw on MK808. However, moborobo method is painful. Without extra installs, there is no launcher and not much thing you can do.
Suprisingly wireless works better than Hybryd FW 2.1.2.

I made a video playback test with this fw, it is just a draft, no voice over etc.
Captured full screen 1080p so you can actually see how it looks on TV.

Isn't there a way to backup all flash (nand flash backup) and make an image from this?
That way you can preinstall rom, install everything, make a backup, and everybody else can restore this backup / flash / one big .img file via flasher?

Damn, just made the time to install this one ..... uploading 1.3

Lewy would it be possible to check if it is possible to integrate the Ralink RT5370 driver, or which good wifi stick do you recommend?

ok i will add it if you post back how its work;p
if it will not work out of the box you will need to do this:
turn off wifi

-rename rkwifi.ko to other name
-rename rt5370sta.ko to rkwifi.ko (set aproperiet permisions)
-plug your usb wifi to mk808
- turn on wifi

Ouch, wife home = playtime over :D

Saturday morning seems like the next free playtime again.

Just found something on the freaktab forum, nothing about your rom but this is what I might be having with the 2.12 and streaming from my dreambox with that libstagefright.
'I did some testing. mp4 and mkv work well with libstagefright. AVI containters on the other hand are all scrammbled. Turn libstagefright off and they are descrambled. '
So lets test that with this rom

I love the work you've been doing, (I've been extremely happy since v1). I have a problem with v1.3 though. Moborobo can't find my device now, it did in version 1.2. I don't know what is wrong!! i followed all your instructions, I turn usb debugging on, I just literally tried everything (been trying for 2 hours now :p). Do you think the Moborobo update has something to so with it? Also, why did you change the spoof and the launcher from openlauncher to tvlauncher? Thank you again for the great work!

I went back to v1.2 and here is what the problem is. For some reason, with firmware 1.3 flashed, my computer doesn't recognize it as a usb device it doesn't even think a device in plunged up, therefore moborobo won't work ( i tried on 3 computers). So there must being something wrong here...... because when i flash v1.2, the computer shows an device.

did you traied to check conect to pc and open ACI by lewy20041.exe
did it install?
anyway i will look into this.
there wasnt much interest in open launcher and people were
complaining, thats way i changed conception.
i will publish gtv apps pack so anyone
could use them .

edit:
found the problem, its kernel related. if you can, flash just this kernel http://d-h.st/TiC with finless tool
will fix this today and reupload new package.

edit2:
