mk808b + usb ethernet adapter

Postby sti.que.c.pas.facile » Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:33 pm

Hi all. After trying for 3 days to make my ehternet adapter to work without success, i' m wondering if someone managed to use a mcs7832 equiped usb ethernet adapter?

After loading the correct driver(mcs7830.ko) my system enable the device but i cant connect to the network. I check on my ubuntu pc and it uses mcs7830 driver AND usbnet module.

Is usbnet included in any mk808b rom?
Btw im running finless 1.6 right now but i can try a different rom if that helps

I'm having similar issues as you so I am very interested in if you were able to solve your problem. I have a DLink E100 usb-ethernet adapter which uses the asix.ko and usbnet.ko modules to work on my Ubuntu laptop. I am unable to get it detected on my MK808 (finless 1.7). So I would also like to know how I can compile the asix and usbnet drivers for my mk808.

I ended up buying another adapter.
The htc usb hub with rj45 port. Its a little bit exoensive but it worth the money. You can buy frim ebay for ariuns 35$ or if you trust taobao's agent you can find it around 15$
